CHESTERFIELD, Mo.—-Insituform Technologies, Inc. today reported a first quarter 2009 net loss from continuing operations, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles , of $1.2 million, or $0.04 per share , which amount is inclusive of $8.2 million in transaction and severance costs incurred in connection with the acquisitions completed in the first quarter of 2009.
